My first grader is being 'clapped out' (applauded) for learning a whole year's worth of sight words in less than one semester. I am so proud of him! He had the whole first grade school year to learn just over 200 sight words (206? 207?) and he knew all of them about halfway through November.

Kudos to your first grader, Kasey! That seems almost amazingly fast for a six year old to learn so many words! Is he gifted? I'll bet the school will want to consider advanced placement or something like Program Challenge for him. :)
