I have noticed with two of my friends that both had extra help while conceiving, each baby was a tad bigger than those that had a natural pregnancy. How long does it take before the baby weight ends up adjusting after the birth?

Do you mean the baby's weight, or the baby weight that the mom was carrying? For babies themselves, it seems to be about two weeks before it stabilizes. There is talk in the UK of not weighing babies at birth, or for the first two weeks because of this, but I can't see it happening.

I think my son's weight stabilized about ten days or so after he was born. He was a natural conception baby, I had no complications, and he still weighed almost ten pounds. It dropped a bit (his weight) but was back up to birth weight about a week and a half after he was born.

I had lost weight a few years back and had my first successful cycle and then I lost most of it after the baby was born all but 6 pounds. Then when the baby was 1 my older child was diagnosed with cancer and during his treatment I gained back 20 pounds. He is now in remission but the weight seems harder now then ever to get off - Im still trying though.
