We have chosen NOT to learn the sex of our baby before birth. I've had ultrasounds but I really don't want to know if it's a boy or a girl. The suspense is killing me but I want it to be a surprise. We decorated the nursery in a neutral lavender so it can be for a boy or a girl. I've also used Pooh and friends theme so it is also neutral. Have you chosen to learn the sex of your child?

We have agreed that we will never try to know the gender of our baby while it is still in the womb. The suspense is there and that is a part of what makes parents happy. We decided that sky blue would be the color of the baby's room when we get to have a baby.

I think blue is a lovely color for either sex. I remember having a robin's egg blue room when I was a little girl. It was beautiful. My mother painted my twin bed white and I had a quilt my grandmother made with different fabrics with the robin's egg blue in it. It certainly made a beautiful room.

I never want to know if I am carrying a baby girl or boy. That's why I hate USG. My husband is always eager to find out our baby gender. And it's not the worst. He is also a big spoiler.

We found out the gender with both of our children. A part of me wanted to wait and be surprised the 2nd time, but either way you go it is still a surprise to see what they look like on the day of the delivery.

My wife and I always waited even if she had to have an ultrasound. It just made the moment of birth a little more exciting to see whether it was a boy or girl.

I have many friends who have chosen not to know. Even known some couples that one wants to know but the other doesn't! How challenging that must be! I'm in the group that wants to know.

I haven't really thought of that issue yet. I think I would like to know so I can get colors lined up for clothing and for decorating. We have already started clearing out what will be the nursery for the baby. I'm so excited!

I did with all of mine. I really wanted to decorate in pink or blue not the neutral colors. I also wanted to be able to buy clothes beforehand. I had girls and I had so much fun decorating and buying all the cute, frilly clothes they have.

We did. We're having a little boy and his name is going to be Maverick David (Maverick after the movie and David after my father). My husband's dad is named something horrible (sorry won't disclose in fear of upsetting someone ), so we are not naming him after him.

I found out for both my boys. With my first I wanted a boy so I was pretty excited when I found out that he was! With my second the ultrasound tech would not tell me what the sex was!! I was so mad. She showed me his parts though and I could tell it was another boy. I was a bit disappointed at first because I only planned on having two children so I wanted one of each. But I got over it quickly!

We did for all three of ours. It didn't take away from our excitement or joy. My sister had the experience of being told incorrectly that her second child was to be a boy and along came my niece. Nothing is 100%.

Oh, I want to know. I haven't had an ultrasound yet so I have yet to know what I'm having. But I'd like to know so I can start getting some gender specific clothing and accessories for the baby. I think I'm going to do my nursery in yellow and mint green. Something about those colors just really makes me happy.

Oh yes, we can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl. We are still planning on a neutral theme for the baby's room, but we just want to know. We still have a short time to wait though before we'll find out though.

We did want to know the sex of our baby because I want to decorate the baby's room in either pinks or blues. We found out awhile ago but the nursery is not a bunch of wonderful shades of blue!!
