Does your little one ever suffer from a nightmare?  If so how do you calm their fears and help them get back off to sleep when they are worked up and afraid to be left alone?

This may not be the right way, but it's the way I do it.  Smiley I hold my baby and gently stroke his little face to get him to relax and speak in a soft, soothing voice to let him know that daddy is here and everything is all right.

It's very easy to make my daughter calm and back to sleep after night terrors. I simply comfort her by giving a rub on her back plus hugs and kisses. I always make sure that her favorite stuffed toy is beside her. I sing her favorite song. It works for me.

My step-son has always had nightmares ever since he was a baby and my partner just walks in and pats his head and says 'you're alright,mate'... He falls right back to sleep.
